I wonder if anyone has read "The Problem with Quality Management: Process orientation, controllability and zero-defect processes as modern myths" by Bettina Warzecha ? I read it. It will probably make your blood boil. But it's worth a look because it brings up some definite problems that we have.

The title nails it. It's really a rant on quality systems; all the problems most of us are familiar with. No solutions are offered, though. She just wants to throw the baby out with the placenta. I just wanted to hear if someone else has read it. I read it for free because I have a subscription to Scribd.
