Brick walk project
Just a little project to make the brick walk to the front deck even again - easier to shovel the snow off of it, less apt to collect dangerous ice in Winter. Last Winter I fell on that ice and hit my head something fierce - very scary! It took awhile to get over the concussion I gave myself out there.

Brahma Kamal
I just wanted to share my joy of seeing these flowers with you. This is a cactus flower, of the size of a lotus flower, with bright whitish petals and light and pleasant aroma. This plant flowers only once or twice in a year, during Aug -Sept; it flowers only in the night, fully blossoming after 10.30 pm. It has a very short life, of about two hours. It shrinks after two hours. It is worth the wait to watch this flower blossom and to experience the pleasant aroma. This year I had a bumper crop of these flowers. One can grow this plant from its leaf and it takes about five years to get the first flowers.
