Military Sampling Plan 105E vs. ISO 2859-1

Please can someone advise if military sampling plan 105E & ISO 2859-1 are the same thing or similar

I have a customer who works to military sampling plan 105E and we currently work to ISO 2859-1

Would there be a difference in the two?

There is no real differences. The tables are identical. You can also use ANSI Z1.4. Just as a note, you might want to let your customer know that MIL-STD105E has been withdrawn, so an auditor could write a finding.

The ISO 2859-1(1999) is different from the MIL-STD-105E and ANSI/ASQ Z1.4-2003 (R2013) standards.

Originally the ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 and ISO 2859-1 were created as commercial equivalents to the MIL-STD-105E.

The 1999 revision of the ISO 2859-1 standard changed some of the Accept-reject number pairs. So ISO 2859-1 close but not quite the same as the ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 and MIL-STD-105E standards.
