I all,
Do you have any electronic copies of your manuals available. Would like to see how you handled setting the maual up as well as process maps.
Thanks a million.

Take a few minutes and browse the attachments listing and threads in this forum. There are a lot of posted quality manuals. I think some are TS 16949 manuals. If you can't find any come back to this thread and let us know and we'll see what we can do.

Hi everyone,
I have been a member for a little while but this is my first time to reply. I guess I feel a little intimidated by all the excellent minds in this forum. I too am going to have to write a TS manual and am a little confused on how to start. I would like for it to be simple, yet informative, since I work for Japanese and they like charts over verbage. Is there a flow of information that anyone can give that points me in the right direction? I've tried to find examples of manuals but haven't had much luck finding any. I guess I'm still learning my way around. I would truly appreciate some guidance.
Thanks,
BDC

There are lots of ISO quality manuals here. I'm not sure about TS 16949 quality manuals.

If you do a search for quality manuals, you will get a lot of hits on the Cove. Just scanning the subject lines, I found one example:

Example Quality System Manuals (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=9836)

If you want to do it with flow charts, that will work great, too. MS Visio is a good software for drawing the charts. I use the flow charts for work instructions all the time, and people prefer them to the more traditional written work instructions.
