Interesting article about the composition of the Technical Committees involved with the development of the ISO Standards is available through this link (http://www.pacinst.org/reports/iso_participation/). The report is available here. (http://www.pacinst.org/reports/iso_participation/iso_participation_study.pdf)

I suspect that, when it comes to Technical Committees deliberating on product standards, Industry participation in the TC's is very high, but it does not to seem the case for management system standard developments. Is this necessarily bad?

Even when most of the participants are from the Industry sector, they often have wide information about the marketing processes, the human resources and the management. Also there are specific process standards about the *quality*, not the entire business model. We have to waite to say a super all processes covering standard. Then I will ask, who participate at it development.
