View Full Version : Sampling Questions - Theory behind the use of sampling techniques

Hello everyone. I am a graduate student trying to find some information on sampling techniques. I have been searching online for a few days now without very much luck. I hope to find some help here. :)

My questions are as follows:

1. Explain the theory behind the use of sampling techniques for the purpose of controlling quality. Identify the function of MIL-STD 105D and MIL-STD 414.

and

2. Explain the function of the graphical problem solving sequence. What are the component parts of the sequence, how are they dependent upon one another, and how does this sequence aid a quality improvement team?

Can ANYONE here help me out with some answers or website addresses?

Al,

Nice links. I thought that Bradttu would have gotten a typical first response as to why he has these questions so that the Covers could talk specifically into his needs.

Bradttu,

These sound like exam questions. Is this the case?

Just Wondering!

Al - thanks for the links. They were very helpful in leading me in the right direction. :agree1:

Doug - No, these aren't exam questions. They are questions from a textbook assignment that I have, but the book really doesn't cover the topic very well. I am just trying to make sense of all of this.

Thanks for the help! :) This will probably be my last post on this site! You all have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Peace.

I hope that it was not due to my question?

Hope you have a Great Christmas & Happy New Year as well!

You wouldn't want to share your answers to the exercise here, would you? ;)
