Hello,

I am looking for a 6-sigma training in my conutry, but I do not understand which system of 6-sigma training is good for me, to the best of my knowledge that the Motorola university is very famous, so I would like to know the seniors' experience who graduated from the Motorola university and obtain the license of the green belt or black belt smoothly.

By the way, I would appreaciate if anyone can suggest me a good training organization for 6-sigma course.

Thanks in advance. :D :D

I'm surprised no one here has been to Motorola's course. I haven't - Sorry I can't help...

I'm surprised no one here has been to Motorola's course. I haven't - Sorry I can't help...I have presented some seminars and workshops at the U (Motorola University) just a little northwest of O'Hare Field. It is a very beautiful and efficient campus. They teach lots of stuff there besides Six Sigma.

Like anything else in life, the texts are pretty standard, but the quality of the instructors varies. Sometimes the best part of a course is the interaction between and among fellow students.

Motorola is "good," but the reputation is over-rated - many schools and courses are available now that weren't available 15 years ago when Motorola was making its bones as a 6S operation. Those schools give as good a grounding in the basics of 6S as Motorola and are not clouded by the "Motorola Myth."

Tenneco has a very good six sigma program for it's suppliers. try giving Mark Kulwicki an email. He is very good and should give some good advice. His email is mark.kulwicki@tenneco-automotive.com . He is a master black belt and is part of what Tenneco calls GO TENSigma Team.
