I am working with Thai Baroda Industries Ltd. a manufacturer of Nylon tyre cord fabric used as reinforcing material in Tyres. We got ISO/TS 16949 last year.
I have compiled a list of non-conformances raised during pre-assessment and final assessment of TS-16949 audits. This has been compiled based on my discussions with MRs of other industries, auditors of certifying body and discussions in public seminars organised by our certifying body. Hope this will be useful for those who are in the process of pre-assessment/final assessment.

 Many slippages in controlling system documents and technical documents

Document control was not effective. Examples:-
-When new revision of procedures/ work instructions/formats were issued, the previous issues were not withdrawn.
-Drawings not updated after design review.
-When customer issued new spec.,old spcs. were still referred.
