Hey gang,
I have an interview next week with a fortune 500 company for a lead process expert. This position will combine project/program/account management skills with a few others. I was told they reviewed all the resumes (about 50) and kept only 4 or 5. I was one of the ones they kept and I had my initial phone interview today. They like my program management skills and leadership abilities. At the end the hiring manager said I was invited to a 2nd in person interview next week. it will be a panel type interview and I need to be able to 1) sell myself on my skills (not a problem)
2) sell them on my ability to implement and integrate software across a matrix environment. I have some experience with SAP and JD Edwards and I understand this is the place I am lacking for a perfect fit. What advice would you give me? What websites could i check out to familiarize myself with software integration? I just want to be as prepared as possible for this. thanks and let me know if any questions.

Very few times will an employer find a 'perfect fit'. And while I understand the feeling of a need to 'bone up', to me interviews are like tests are - You know what you know - Go with it.

As to software integration sites, this should be an 'after the fact' issue. You probably don't know all they currently have and how they're currently interacting - Or what they want to achieve in any definite detail. There are a lot of possible combinations...

If you have a 'portfolio', take it with copies for each person who will interview you. Be ready to show evidence of what you've done and how you did it. Successes with evidence will help show that you are an achiever.
