Personal issues are forcing me to go back to 9-5. I am in the Southern New England area, and have major experience. My only requirements are health insurance a challenge and fair market wage. Have attached my resume. I downsized it because I think the other one scares the employer, thinking I want mega bucks...or maybe its my age.............who knows

so anyone feel free to pass the resume around in my area......don't want to relocate :thanks:

I'm not being judgmental, Barb. I do, however, think you would profit from looking through these two threads as you embark on your job hunt.

Tips to get past the "gatekeeper" when job hunting (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=9325)

Resume and cover letter - how good is yours? (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=10169)

If you have some specific questions, I'd be happy to answer them.

Some of you may remember barb. She's been around for quite a few years and visited the forums sorta on and off. I met barb once in Michigan.

Welcome back, barb!

Hi Barb - welcome back. I just asked one of your co-auditor friends if she had heard from you. I'm sure you know who I'm referencing.

Good luck with the job hunt. My connections don't take me into the NE area much, but I'll keep you in mind.

Send me a Private message and let me know how you are doing.

And Marc - maybe you met in Michigan too, but I'm quite sure you 2 met in Rochester NY - all 3 of us were in the same training which Barb helped organize - back in about 2000?

Cheers - Laura

I'm getting old. What was the course?

It was the TE suppllement. I had a tooling and equipment client and Barb's associate from England taught the course - you had to leave for an emergency back at a client if I remember correctly. I was just getting started in the 'biz - and of course found the cove. You directed me to Barb when I asked you for recommendations on TE training.

Ah! Yes - I remember now.
