Thanks.Try www.samplingplans.com Al Rosen 11th January 2005, 06:24 PM Another good article at Designing Attribute Acceptance Sampling Plans (http://www.mathdl.org/mathDL/4/?pa=content&sa=viewDocument&nodeId=428&bodyId=417) with an excel macro. You can control n & c of the sampling plan to meet your alpha & beta. It also displays the Operating Curve. Really nice! I highly recommend "The Handbook of Applied Acceptance Sampling" by Kenneth Stephens. It comes with a CD jam packed with Excel spreadsheets. It is also a ripping good read if you really have to understand sampling plans. He writes so even I can understand. It's worth way more than my company paid for it. It was recommended to me by another Cover. Good luck! Thanks. www.variation.com is also a very useful site on acceptance Sampling related topics, tables, etc. They publish a book "Guide to acceptance Sampling" that come with a floppy disk containing various DOS based Sampling program. Another place would be Statgraphics Plus statistical software. This comes with Variable and Attribute Sampling features. Regards, Govind.
