Hi

I am a seasoned Quality Practitioner and highly specialized in ISO 9001 implementation. I would like to broaden my expertise and knowledge in ISO/TS 16949. I have ordered ISO/TS Answer Book by Rodley Smith.

Please advice on are the best books available. I have sketchy knowledge about about ISO/TS 16949(APQP, PPAP,MSA etc reference manual). I am currently in South Africa and would purchase second hand books and any other suitable material. Tel +27 73 411 7375

Regards

In general it would seem that you need to first learn about the "core tools" that you mentioned, there is a lot of information here.
Marc has a number of presentations here

APQP (http://elsmar.com/pdf_files/APQP_Q.pdf)
FMEA (http://elsmar.com/pdf_files/FMEA-N.pdf)
MSA (http://elsmar.com/pdf_files/MSA_J.pdf)
Statistics (http://elsmar.com/SPC/)

There are also more files here http://elsmar.com/pdf_files/
I do not know the book you have ordered but I think that with that and what you have here you should be able to broaden your knowledge.
Please remember that the tools can be applied in any industry.
Please feel free to post any questions that you have
