Hello!
Have a customer who had their MSA calculation and the results is shown near:

%Tolerance variation
%EV=1,206452
%AV=3,651613
%R&R=3,845161
%PV=8,006452

And when we do our test in excel spread sheet we have our results as shown:
%R&R = 19,84

see attachment file:

Is there some reasons thats our customer has got different results?

Is there someone that can help me to make a test in other system to see the result who are right?
Thanks?

There seems to be a problem in the work sheet.
Attached 2 worksheets one similar to yours and another .
These do not agree exactly but are close to your customer.

As can be seen even though the R&R is low the system is not good, see the range charts on the Gage R and R spreadsheet - another one.xls file.

I have another comment, if the tolerance is 0.031 is measuring to 0.001 adequate or should the definition be 0.0001?
Anyone

Thanks a lot!
It seemes to be different templates and calculations out there, is it best to buy one software to bee sure of the calculations? OR can I validate the calculation thru an example of MSA ref manual?

There are a lot of examples here at the cove of templates.
I think that the basic difference comes from the tolerance method or part variation method.
This is a case of software validation.

If you buy software then you need to be sure that this is validated.

Try the example in the handbook
