We are currently reviewing our production meeting format to revise. We are also preparing to transition to TS from QS. Are there any specific TS requirements which I should note prior to implementing changes to the production meeting format?

I'm not sure what you mean by "production meeting". Depending on the topics/scope, it may fall in a number of sections of the TS16949 standard.
During our upgrade from QS-9000, we included many of the daily, weekly & monthly review meetings in our Management Review (5.6) procedure. This allowed us to drop some topics from the semi-annual Quality System Review meeting.
If your meeting is production-scheduling, the applicable clause is 7.5.1.6. Other clauses may apply if APQP or resource allocation are considered.
Customer-specific requirements should be also be checked, as some customers mandate daily meetings for management review of particular issues.

Yes, our Production Manager is evaluating the effectiveness of the production meetings and making the necessary adjustments. Since it is being restructured, I was trying to find out the requriements under TS. Looks like it is rather vague. Thanks, Margie
