Hi folks,

Here in Brazil the weather makes me think what the **** will be.

I´ve just participated in a ISO TS 16949 trainning.
The instructor gave us aa ideia that knowing the above mentioned
guidance is essential. I´m searched for a copy of the guidance
in the web "free of charges,of course" but I could´n´t fint it.
Any help?

As I mentioned before, this doc seems to be what ISO 9004 is to ISO 9001.

At some subjects, as allways, ISO TS 16949 is very generic.

Well, then we might be conform in many ways.

No no no - the auditor will seek IN THAT guidance what is the
expected way to demonstrate conformity. (so I was told in that
BV event).

I think you may have to buy the guidance docment. I am not aware of any free copies.

By they way, ISO 9004 is a document that describes how to go beyond ISO 9001:2000. ISO 9004 is NOT a guide for implementing ISO 9001. However, the IATF Gudiance document to TS 16949 IS a guide to help with the implementaiton and maintenance of TS 16949:2002. ISO 9004 and the IATF Guidance doc to TS do not have the same purpose.

there are "sanctioned interpretations" that can be found on the IAOB website (http://www.iaob.org/sanctioned.html) that help to clarify what was meant in the original document. I'm not sure that this is what you're looking for but it's free and it may be helpful.

we also purchased the TS Implementation Guide from AIAG which was very helpful in clarifying the standard.
