Are there any Labeling Requirements outlined by AIAG or the IATF??

Or am I correct in assuming these are ALL customer specific???

You are correct that labeling is a customer specific requirement which should be agreed at the quote stage. Any special requests for packaging and bar coding should be addressed in APQP.

Although the specifics are detailed by each customer, the AIAG has published various reference documents that may help. The current list of these is found at the AIAG publications (https://mows.aiag.org/source/Orders/index.cfm?task=1&CATEGORY=AUTOIDBC&DESCRIPTION=Automatic%20Identification%2FBar%20Coding&CFTOKEN=43451768&continue=1&SEARCH_TYPE=find) page.

For example, "B- 4: Parts Identification and Tracking Application Standard" has been referenced by one of our customers to our Sales Engineer (but not in the official CSR).
