I was involved with my first calibration audit back in Jan when my agency decided I was needed elsewhere. Now in their infinite wisdom, I've been placed back in my original facility. :agree1: Now the dilemma. I'm looking for an audit checklist that deals with section 7.6 Control of Monitoring and Measuring Devices. I somehow came across one back in Jan, but it was lost in the moves. :frust: In the interim my computer was changed and it doesn't appear to be there either. Has anyone found a similar checklist to use during their calibration audits?

I am not familiar with one specifically for the 9K requirements, although the other folks here may be. I am very familiar with checklists for ISO/IEC 17025, which is for the laboratories themselves.

Can we use ISO 17025 requirement while auditing section 7.6 Control of Monitoring and Measuring Devicesof ISO 9K2K? I have my own doubts.

I would think not, too! But I guess it would depend on the Scope of the Audit. I would think that you could use 17025 to develop your calibration system, but 17025 has more detail requirements (e.g., Calibration Certification / Reports, Profeciency Tests, etc.).

Yes, you can......because.......
The requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, with respect to calibration labs, far exceed anything 9K requires.
