View Full Version : Paris Hilton and Carls Jr

So last night the new Paris Hilton, Carls Jr. (Hardees for you midwesterners) commercial aired - WOWZA, HOLY KAZAAMMM BATMAN

It is practically soft core porn. - I LOVE IT

Of course what would we do without a few upset groups over the commercial. People are calling for a boycott of the TV stations, calling for removal of the ad, boycotting the sponsors of the same show it aired during. Yet no one called for a boycott of Carl's Jr. Was that supposed to be implied?

Here are some details, it did not air until after 10:00PM PST during CSI:Miami (I heard it also aired during the 9:00PM hour during Las Vegas, but I can not confirm that.

So many people wanted to see it again, the Carl's Jr. website crashed (probably all those groups asking for it to be pulled). Carl's Jr. demographic is 16-34 males with no regard for healthy food. they have the Six Dollar Burger (1750 calories, 54 g of carbs, 30+ grams of fat) they have the Spicy Six Dollar Burger (just add jalopenos) I think they hit the nail on the head.

If a group does not like the commercial, tell them to inform their folks to TURN THE CHANNEL They do not have to go to the store.

That's all I have to say about that - THAT'S HOT!!!

I personally find this appalling. What about us people over 34 with no regard for healthy food?

For those of us OVER 34, do we need Sharon Stone (Basic Instinct) or Jane Fonda (Barbarella) to do a remake?:lmao:

I was thinking Ann Margaret or Sophia Loren, but hey to each their own. I always thought that Jane Mansfield was kinda attractive.....

But Paris Hilton - ZOWZA, That's Hot! She can be enjoyed by all generations

I think she is hot too, but I also think she would benefit from a boob job.

Although this thread seems to have taken a nasty sexist turn, before someone objects let me just say that I might consider Ms. Hilton hot after she ate a steady diet of those cheeseburgers for a few months. Frighteningly emaciated is not my idea of hot.

And it is a tasty looking burger.

Aww, c'mon guys. You just have to respect her for her intellect.

As for my intellect, I think I had better wait to click on the link until I get home!

When I see the ads in question I think of a brief interlude of intensely satisfying, hedonistic pleasure, and that's just the cheeseburger.

Time for a female to chime in here:

The last time I ate at a Carl's Jr. was abotut 15 years ago. The food was awful. AWFUL!

As a marketing major, and assuming that their food still isn't that great, I say its a great ad - give the people what they want. If I lived in that area the ad wouldn't make me go run to Carl's Jr, but it is memorable.

Good choice to run it later in the evenings, I agree - I wouldn't want to explain the ad to a small child if it aired at 7:00 during Wheel of Fortune for sure!!!

And no, I'm not offended by the ad or the discussion here. Continue on!

I think I missed that part

I was referring to the burger between the buns. I didn't see any cheese.

Ahmen, I prefer real-life sized myself. I also prefer at least the intellectual capacity to turn a door knob. Every time I hear that skanks name I picture the South Park episode about her..... Probably can't mention half of what they did due to the censorship here (not complaining either, it's not my site).

I can sympathize with her dog shooting itself in the head though. :lmao:

PS - Never heard of Carls Jr (S Ohio here) but I know Hardees. Same thing?

I guess it pays to show the world what a slut you are these days. It is hard to criticize someone for making an honest living though.

Last night on O'Reilly, Pat Buchanan was saying he believes the Marxists are behind all this garbage and sleazy stuff that we a being pummeled with. And he compared it unfavorably to the 50's straightlaced stuff.

IMHO if McDonalds, in the 50s, would have been able to dump the straightlaced stuff and feature Paris Hilton in their ads, it wouldn't have taken so long to sell their first billion burgers. Carrying that same thought, with McDonalds sponsoring The Mickey Mouse Club I wonder if any of us young guys would have noticed Annette was on the show.

Jerry I agree with you. The South Park episode was great. The other thing that I recall is that after the 1st internet movie was released she was on Letterman. Dave asked if there was a real Paris Hilton Hotel and she answered that there was and Dave went on about different entry locations, etc. etc.
There are no Carls here in MI either, but seeing her do the comercials would make me scared to eat there. I would be concerned about finding or catching something worse that a planted finger in the food!!!!

Dave, you know she might look better with a big red nose and a wig. I, for one, do not find her attractive, she isn't ugly (until she talks and you hear that voice) but if she fell into a vat of beer I would think twice before jumping in -- to save the beer. :mg:

Another female point of view....The Carl's Jr. / Paris Hilton commercial is excellent advertising! Bravo Carl's Jr./ Hardees! BUT, oh my god they used the wrong car!!! It should have been a red Ferrari or similar vehicle. Something "HOT"...not something Ho-Hum, boring.
I would have to agree that it airs about 1 hour too early in the evening - I don't have kids (I have cats) but I guess I can somewhat understand the parent side of it.

See? That's what I am saying...LOL! (I got your intention)
I'm a car person...and if you're going to make a HOT ad, it should at least be completely HOT!!! Plus, it would have been good if she got the burger guts all over herself too...I'm just sayin'...
:D

Well maybe she will be a good wench now that she has a man. You reckon?

I have to admit I'm biased. I don't LIKE her. Spoiled party girl/debutante that spends daddy's money.

I'm reminded of the beginning of the South Park episode, where Wendy says "But what does she DO?"
