Does anyone know of an acceptable form for doing a Gage Repeatability
study using 1 part, 1 appraiser, with the appraiser measuring the 1 part 10 times? I have used a form in the past that was supplied to a QA at my workplace by GM. But now that the K values have changed, I am not sure this 1x1x10 is valid. Where I work a 1x1x10 must meet 18% before continuing on to a full blown GRR including Appraiser variation.
If anyone knows of such a form that is acceptable, I would appreciate it very much.
Thanx

I have a form that we have used in the past. It uses standard deviation but no K values. We had 1 QE that required it. I last used it about 2 years ago for a Chrysler PSO with this QE. Let me know if you think this will help

Yes, thank you, Tracy. I would really llike to see the form. Do you have it in electronic form? I tried making my own, but the present k values are not designed for any less than 2 persons, so I am sure that even if I would use the least k value(for 2 appraisers) it is going to alter the study. Perhaps the way to go is standard deviation. Yes, please send.
Thank you

This method is meant for preliminary evaluation of short term gage repeatability only. Please read Appendix D (Gage R Study) in the MSA manual for assumptions and applications of this method.

Thank you very much Tracy for sharing the file. :thanx:
