This may be an odd (stupid) question, but how can one find out who their FDA District Office is? I need to make contact with them in relation to a product problem.

Thanks for your help!

:thanx:

:thanx:Are you contacting them as a consumer or manufacurer?
You can try How to Report Problems With Products Regulated by FDA (http://www.fda.gov/opacom/backgrounders/problem.html)
or The ORA. (http://www.fda.gov/ora/inspect_ref/iom/iomoradir.html)

I don't think it will matter which office you call, you will be directed to the another "appropriate" one.

It depends where you are located. Outside of the Rockville, MD/ Washingtom DC area (i.e. FDA HQ), the field is set up via geographical regions and districts. Regional offices are made up of 3 or more district offices. Each district office has administrative, compliance, and investigations branches (at least) (such as Chicago district) + various investigative resident posts (such as Gurnee, IL RP). Some districts (such as Chicago) are comprised of one state (IL), and others (such as Philadelphia) are comprised of more than one state (PA, DE).

Start with your local district office or resident post.

Attached is the ORA directory as an aid.
