A great place to find and check on DOD Specs and Standards is http://www.dodssp.daps.mil . There is a free quick search of documents. A search for 'Gage Block" in the title finds document GGG-G-15C(1) with a status of canceled. Sometimes the status field is not updated as quickly as the cancellation notice, but follow the document id link to get a list of all revisions. Any cancellation notice will be there. It will state if there is a replacement or not. In this case, there is no replacement.
