Every now and then someone asks another member to provide an email addie so you can discuss something in private. Now, whatever you do, don't post the mail addie in the open forum: Spam bots will find it and direct lots of spam to you. This is not a problem however, as there are at least two better ways to contact another member:

All you need to do is to click any users name: Unless the user has disabled this function you will now see a menu with (among other things) the options to send a private message or email. You will not see the mail address, but sending a mail to the user will of course reveal your address to the reciever.

Please remember - When you use this forum software's 'Blind' e-mail system, when you contact another member by e-mail your e-mail address will be sent to the person you are sending the e-mail to.

The 'Blind' system protects registered users from anyone / bots getting a registered user's e-mail address from the forum, but sending someone an e-mail through the blind system DOES reveal your e-mail address to the person you are sending the e-mail to.
