Hi All,

Can anyone suggest a resource that could provide support for legal issues regarding 14001 in the electronic equipment industry (routers) (globally?). I would also appreciate any aspects that you may be familiar with regarding the same industry.

Thanks

1st let me ask...Do you actually know anything about ISO 14001 or are you fishing?

2nd.....do a search of the 14K Forum and you'll find all you need to know about aspects

3rd...the legal starts with Ontario, Canada Federal, NAFTA, CAFTA. Legal is very complicated and can't be taught or learned in a couple of posts.

Rob, thanks for the response. Yes I am familiar with 14001, my questions were to find out if there was any particular resource that deals with legal issues. I deal with 13485 also here in Canada and know that there is a group that deals with legal medical requirements altogether. Just wondering if there was one like that for 14001. I've covered possible aspects with this compnay I'm with, but was looking for anything that I may have missed. Fishing? haven't done that in a while, but in regard to advice, that's all I'm looking for.

Thanks again.

You'll probably need to start with the Environment Canada http://www.ec.gc.ca/envhome.html

Next stop try Ontario http://www.on.ec.gc.ca/or-home.html

Where you go from there is up to you.

Your industry will have specific needs that have to be addressed individually.

Basically identify you aspects and determine if there are any regulations that govern them. It will take work.

Just for grins try this link
