We are working on implementing a HACCP system as a way of meeting some European GMP requirements, and are currently registered ISO 9001:2000 (with reregistration in January!) We already have a documentation numbering system established for our ISO documents and forms. My question is, does the document and form numbers for the HACCP system have to tie into the current ISO document and form numbering system? If anyone has some references or would like to share what they have done, I'd apperciate it! ;)

Numbering systems should be entirely up to the organization, certainly from the ISO side. Just make the linkages to the HAACP forms clear?

AngieIsn't your HACCP system part of the product realiization process? Wouldn't it fall within Monitoring and measurement of processes?

Al, that is a good point. :agree1: I suppose it would as you are monitoring the manufacturing process by looking at the critical control points. I'll have to bring this point up at our HACCP team meeting in a little bit.
Thanks for the impute.
