i am a novice in this field. now i am doing a traportation procedure for the Computer assembly company. invoice is needed when the transportation is made- this invoice is certified by the ministry of finance and is used inthe country by all companies. should i put the scanned invoice in the procedure? i think this is illegal... this is a document of external origin, right? what to do?:thanx:

At best you could scan a blank invoice form, or you can reference the form. Does the procedure provide a work instruction in how the invoice is to be filled out? What is currently in the procedure?

Welcome KATII!!!
Why would scanning it be illegal?
Claes, I think U.S. law does not apply here. I think we are talking about the other Georgia, not the one I am sitting in.:D

I wouldnt consider an invoice to be an external document but rather a record.

I wouldnt consider an invoice to be an external document but rather a record. But, isn't a record a special type of document?:D

thank you. i was thinking maybre to scan a form, which is already filled out. the procedure does not provide instruction how to fill out invoice, but i can reference the georgian offical legislation in this case, becasue somewhere there should be an offical instruction for it.. i guess.. my procedure describes how the transportation from the international border or other place is done to the office storage, and some other things.... thanks guys.

If you don't want to scan it in, you can just reference the form, as Marc suggested. The actual form does not have to be in the instruction.
