The very best of luck.
If you could take the cove then then it would not be a question of luck
Claes Gefvenberg 2nd December 2005, 08:16 AM Wish me luck - I may need it!Good luck... :agree:
/Claes
D.Scott 2nd December 2005, 08:18 AM Good luck Brian.
Dave
Baldrick 2nd December 2005, 08:23 AM Good luck from the cold, wet, windy UK!!! Don't forget to celebrate afterwards.
Craig H. 2nd December 2005, 09:07 AM Good luck? OK. But, let me congratulate you for coming this far. Take a deep breath, relax, and KICK BUTT!!!!
Dan Armstrong 2nd December 2005, 10:41 AM Let me know how it goes. Plans are for me and eleven of my coworkers to take the test in June '06. I'd appreciate some insight, tips, hints, etc.
qualeety 2nd December 2005, 10:55 AM guess "C" when in doubt :lmao:..there was an article about the distribution of right answers for SAT and the mode was "C"
unless your job is on the line, just relax and write the test...just remember (if i recall correctly....been so long), the passing rate for cqe was about 35% to 40%...so you have to be an abnormal to pass the test since "majority" does not pass :lmao:
let us know the results!!!!
btw, is there any law against the discussing the test questions on the cove?...it would be most helpeful to the future test takers....can we create a new thread to discuss "possible  ceq questions"?...and of course, all of us can help answer the questions... :D ... just a thought!!!
Brian Myers 3rd December 2005, 02:25 PM It's over!:applause:
Just finished the exam. Went pretty well, I had time to go back and look up all the questions that I had trouble with the first time through the test. :D
Now for the waiting... lets see if the Quality Gods are smilin' on me!

ralphsulser 8th December 2005, 01:57 PM Hope they improved the feedback time. I took the test on Dec. 06, 1985, and didn't get my results of passing until Feb. 1986.

They claim that they will Pony-Express me my results 2 weeks from the date of the exam. Thay also say that they post your results to their website (your account) before that and send you an email to tell you your results are ready.
I am "glued" to my email awaiting that notice...:cfingers:
I don't feel any smarter for having taken the test (matter of fact I figure I killed quite a few braincells that day! ), but studying for it has surely opened my eyes!:agree1:
Brian
holly21 8th December 2005, 03:19 PM I took the CQE in June and had my results in less than two weeks. I hope you get yours soon!
amanbhai 8th December 2005, 05:40 PM I took the CQE in June and had my results in less than two weeks. I hope you get yours soon!
I have also got my CQE result in 2 weeks but if for some reason you don't get it through regular mail you can go to www.asq.org hope you would find your result if you'r ASQ memeber.
When I took the test I called ASQ soon afterwards about exam result & I was informed that I would take 52 week. :mg: .I repeatedly asked about the time & answer was the same 52 weeks. Now that kind of response sometimes confuses people.
Govind 11th December 2005, 06:58 AM ..........so where's the result of CQE? ;)
If you log in to the "My ASQ" (under Certifications) on 14th, 15th this month, you will see your result for the Dec 3rd Exam.
Regards,
Govind.
amanbhai 11th December 2005, 04:16 PM here you go.
Brian Myers 14th December 2005, 02:05 PM Just got word - I passed the CQE...
Man, I am bouncing off the walls!!!:biglaugh:
Now, a new question - How to "display" this on my business card?
Any suggestions? How have you folks with certifications handled this? I really want to put something on my business card, but I am not sure what is the most professional/acceptable method.
Thanks,
Brian

holly21 14th March 2006, 09:05 AM Congratulations Sree!
David Bear 20th July 2006, 02:18 PM I took the test and June and actually passed it! Whew!! I didn't buy any new reference materials - just used my old classroom texts. I became concerned with my decision after I started hearing horror stories about people flunking the tests in their CQE exam study sessions. Everyone that took the exam with me had taken an ASQ class and had their ASQ study materials with them during the exam. I highly recommend obtaining the ASQ materials. The answers are verbatim for many of the questions (if you know where to find the answer). The "answers" in my books were "sort've" like the exam answers.
I plan on taking the CRE test next. I will get the ASQ materials before I take this one.
