Hence how they can do a value adding audit to their client?Realizing that there is a problem in the first place is a fundamental prerequisite for solving it. A proper presentation of the identified problem is halfway to solving it. If the auditor can present you with a list (Audit report) of identified problems / improvement potential or whatever we choose to call it, I think value has been added (Providing, of course, that you use the potential pointed out by the auditor to take action). /Claes Howard Atkins 6th December 2005, 06:49 AM Look at this thread as well Are 3rd party (ISO9001 Registrar) auditors allowed to provide "Recommendations" ?
