I am hoping to do a small benchmark on other companies percent of land fill waste versus wastes removed as a recycled commodity. Pre ISO 14K, we land filled 90% of our wastes. Our first objective when we began the 14K process was to reduce land fill percent. After the first year, our land fill percent has dropped to 10.5% of all wastes removed from here.

For those companies that track land fill versus recyle, what percentage are you at?

Last time I checked the numbers, about 40% of our non-regulated waste was going to the land fill.
