I AM A ISO 14001 CO-ORDINATOR AT A UNDERGROUND COAL MINE (CERTIFIED)AND WAS WANDERING IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER UNDERGROUND COAL MINE THAT ARE BUSY IMPLEMENTING OR ALREADY CERTIFIED . I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE BEST PRACTICES AND NEW IMPROVEMENT IDEAS

I'm personally not aware of any but I remember an auditor I met in Guadalajara a couple of years ago who told me tales about registering mines in various companies. What year did your company register?

MY NAME IS NOEL DE VILLIERS
THE COMPANY I WORK FOR HAS SIX UNITS THAT HAVE TO GET CERTIFICATION.
THREE UNITS ARE ALREADY CERTIFIED.
MY MINE WAS CERTIFIED 11th july 2000

Sorry I couldn't help you out more than that. You're the first person I recall that has been to the forums from the mining industry. Are you ISO 9001 registered as well?

NO WE ARE NOT ISO 9001,OUR WORKSHOPS AND TRAINING UNITS ARE CERTIFIED
