I have been tasked to include environmental design considerations into our Product Development. As one of our customers is Volvo, who have a long and excellent track record in Environmental issues, I was wondering does anyone have any experience of using LCA, Environmental Impact Assessments and Design for Environment within the electrical business supplying to Ford?

We here in Europe have a directive from the European Parliament which deals with End of Life vehicles and recycleability targets.

Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
