We're going for our TS Certification audit in June. I'm working on preparing a gap analysis between where we are and where we are going.
Does anybody have good guidelines for knowing what we need to have in place, or what tests I should try to evaluate our "readiness".

Hey,
It is my understanding that the scheme rules require the following documents are submitted for review;
- Description of processes showing sequence and interactions. This should include KPI for previous 12 months as a minimum
- Evidence that all the requirements of TS2 are addressed by our organisations processes
- A quality manual for each site to be audited
- Internal audit and managmentt review planning and results for past 12 months
- A list of all qualified internal auditors
- A list of customer specific requirements
- Customer satisfaction & complaints status, including customer reports and scorecards
A full explaniation for what is needed is available in the 'Rules for achieving IATF recognition' TS2 booklet.
Hope this helps.
With Regards,
Andy:rolleyes:

OK, I know that, but how do you really be sure after those items are done that you are ready? What is the "thing that starts to happen" that indicates your company is ready?
