I am designing a data acquisition system for the enviromental chamber in order to perform testing on packaging and refrigerants.
One of the major cost factors is the accuracy of the equipment. The only document I could find about thermal packaging testing which is concerned (very mildly) with the subject is D 3103-92 from ASTM. The document is 7 years old and does not include definate accuracy ranges for temperature measurment of the payload (it does include the enviromental temperature and the limits on potentiometer).
