Is there an English version or English text that describes the content of this standard ? Jennifer Kirley 9th April 2006, 11:29 AM I belive this standard is about process orientation. Is there an English version or English text that describes the content of this standard ?Welcome to The Cove, TX Max! :bigwave: Here is a thread where this question has been dealt with in the past: VDA 6.1 english version (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?p=139667) We don't post these sorts of standards here due to copyright protection, but we can point to sources where the standards can be ordered. I hope this helps! Howard Atkins 9th April 2006, 11:46 AM Welcome from me as well I have not heard of VDA 12, http://www.vda-qmc.de/de/index.php?catalog=1062 here is a list of the standards TS Max 9th April 2006, 07:57 PM Thanks Jennifer & Howard. Glad after all these years to find so many like minded people - well done.:applause: Fully understand copyright issues. Problem is the sight is in German and even though I work for a German company nobody seems to be able to help. As this booklet was highly recommned to me, my quest is to find if an English version has been issued or any other techncial texts based on it. Not after a free "illeagal" version - not allowed where I work. Details : VDA12 Prozessorientierung. Issued:2002. Pages 126 Its OK if nobody can help as I will look for alternate materials in the market - maybe you could recommend some publications and where I can get them. Howard Atkins 10th April 2006, 01:31 AM Looking again at the VDA site and the German version there are a lot of VDA books that I did not know about. As VDA 12 only appears in the German site then I doubt if there is a translation. If you find anything please tell us. This is the babelfish translation of the German page. It is possible to understand something of the book but unfortunatley this is all I can do to help Volume 12 (inclusive CD-ROM) process orientation With process orientation we mean to align proceedings and expirations in an interlaced system corresponding to real market conditions to the holistic entrepreneurial success and the chances of the evolution award and zunutzen. Each enterprise will finally contribute by this proceeding to its own success. The quality of the processes affects the enthusiasm for customer, coworker motivation and finally the results of the enterprise. Processes are understood production and marketing thereby not only as recurring activities within the technical ranges of the product phases development, but consider all reciprocal effects between customers, coworkers, guidance and all interest partners. Here it not only the processes applies stably to operate economically and with technological authority to arrange but according to the strategic adjustment in such a way that they can to be adapted to the changed requirements and conditions and lastingly to the enterprise result contribute. In order to reach this, a process orientation is necessary in the entire enterprise, which presupposes a thinking and an acting of all in interlaced operational sequence likewise like a thinking and in question places the own activities. Process orientation is to open the processes for changes and not to cement the existing operational sequence. I'll post them later on this thread Howard Atkins 11th April 2006, 02:37 AM :topic: It is worth remember that it is possible to translate sites on-line or paste paragraphs. The translations are not perfect but enough to understand the point. Fire fox has extensions to automatically translate, I don't know about I.E.. Babel Fish Translation (http://babelfish.altavista.com/) and Google Language Tools (http://www.google.com/language_tools) are both available there are also probably others. |
