After a 6 month working period in Wuxi, China, an experiensed QA Engineer, currently working for Hymec B.V. In The Netherlands is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager position in China.
Hymec B.V. is a Micro-electronics/Hybrid manufacturer in the Netherlands with a high name in the Defence, Space, Automotive, Medical and industrial sector.
Therefore I gained a broad knowledge of different QMS like ISO9001:2000, ISO-TS16949, ECSS, and quality standards like the Mil-STD-883, IPC-A-610, 650 and 600 Additional training in quality improvement techniques, makes it available for me to identify problems before they affected production deadlines. For improvemenst and complaint handling and solving I am in close contact with our key suppliers and perform Quality audits in their production factory on a regular base. Also in my daily job I work closely with the Production and Logistics Department.
My key responsibilities are:
- Implementing (P)FMEA and other quality improvement methods throughout the production as well as the office departments. Over the last 2 years I have successfully implemented (P)FMEA, SPC and the Continues Improvement Philosophy throughout the company’s main processes.
- Implementing and managing new quality and working methods throughout the company with the goals to improve quality, production performance and in-time deliveries.
- Maintaining and update the companys documentation system.
- Develop qualification plans for new products, incuding (P)FMEA and risk analysis.
- Train the Quality Control team, and guide production during the development stages of new products.
In 2005 I was also stationed in Wuxi, China, for a period of 6 months wherein I largely contributed to the transfer and refurbishment of our entire plant to another, state of the art, production facility with 2 class 10.000 clean-rooms.
During this same period I also implemented a new Quality Management System, based on the ISO9001:2000 standard, into our Chinese daughter company.
From 2001 until 2005 I worked in the function as Assistant Quality Assurance manager and was responsible for registering and solving supplier and customer complaints by means of an 8D problem solving strategy.
Furthermore I trained and managed the Quality Control Department on the production floor to the latest Quality requirements so that they continued to achieve their goals.
With my proven leadership ability, quality to manage and maintain the highest QA standards whilst also minimising costs, I am confident that I would be able to make a significant contribution to your company's team.
Because I'm ready to take the next career step, and my previous experiences in working with Chinese people, I am willing to relocation to China.
