Hi All,

Can anybody guide me on what ISO or the standards say about the process for managing a R&D project (software development and associated testing).

Regards,

Morpheus

ISO 9001 essentially says you have to have defined systems. ISO 9001 doesn't tell you you how to 'manage' a project.

I'm not sure about other standards with respect to project management.

That's kind of tough to answer. From what I've found, management and testing clauses are sprinkled throughout the standard. I also work in SW development and am working towards AS9100 and AS9006 compliance (which includes all of the ISO9001 clauses). Feel free to message me and maybe we can chat a little, off line.

Look at everything in 9001 - 7.3 Design and Development and figure it out.
