Hi,

I'm confusing the NPI (New Product Introduction) and APQP process. :(

Our top management has mention NPI is similar to APQP, just in different region havs different title/name. NPI is for European, and APQP for N.A, Is it correct? :(

As we know APQP have defined five stage in Reference Manual of second edith, including "Plan and Define Program" & "Product Design and Development" & "Process Desgin and development" & "Prodcut and Process Validation" & "Feedback, Assessment and Corrective Action". and our top management call them "Concept Review" & "Concept Feasibility Review" & "Design Verification Review" & " Design Validation Review" & "PPAP Review".
Does anyone know the five review system? :(

I'm working on this five review checklist development. have someone can help me to clarify those checklist? or have a formmat can be provide to me for reference. :(

As to NPI it seems to be "different strokes for different folks"
See New product introduction (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_product_introduction)
As for checklists for the phases look at this presentation and you will find examples
APQP (http://elsmar.com/APQP/)
