I understand that gainsharing / profit sharing / improshare plans can lead to improvements in some of the same areas as a well implemented QMS - may improve / possible benefits...eg. increased customer focus, improvements in productivity and profitability, team building benefits, increased loyalty to the organization, decrease in accident rate...etc. Anyone out there realizing any benefits from such a plan? If so, perhaps you could share the specifics of same. Input appreciated. Thanks

Thought I would send this around again, I am being asked to devise a plan for gainshare at my place of employment, and would appreciate any ideas or suggestions. Thanks

We have a gainshare program set up on metrics tied to our plants deliverables in several categories (Costs, H&S, FTT). Sliding scale of incentive to specific value - paid per hour worked over period (month).

We have a performance-based incentive program. Payouts are determined on whether the goals on the selected indicators are met.

We also recognize and reward our problem solving teams.
