I need some help with terminology.

I have been thrown in to a new product launch and it’s going through a APQP process (Chrysler Gate System). I have to develop a quality assurance plan and identify all quality management training need a put a plan together with dates and responsibilities.

I am taking over for someone who left and am used to doing these things.

Can anyone help with they are looking for. Examples would help and be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I'll start you out with a few Links to Existing Quality Plan discussion threads (http://Elsmar.com/Forums/search.php?do=process&titleonly=1&query=quality+plan).

Hi jkittle

I share your pain with the DCX quality gate system - I recently had reason myself to investigate their APQP requirements and have the paper cuts to show for it. - they describe everything in their PAP4CDS manual available online through Covisint. - APQP and PSO manuals are also available through the website.

I actually followed the path backwards beginning from their process sign-off requirements, which ultimately defines what they expect at APQP. Most useful to us was the PSO document - which lists in detail every form, & document at the different stages.

Good luck, the key is having access to Covisint. :agree1:

In that case, are Quality Plans similar to Quality Assurance plans ? If not, what is the difference ?

Can anyone share their Quality Plan which have been prepared as per ISO 10005 ? Since I donot have the ISO copy of 10005, comments appreciated.
