View Full Version : Experience with Global Registrars, Inc CarolX 21st August 2000, 05:54 PM Does anyone have personl experience with Global Registrars, Inc. They came highly recommended. Marc 28th August 2000, 02:34 PM I've never heard anything about them - but there are so many registrars these days. How big are they? CarolX 28th August 2000, 02:41 PM Marc, I do not think they are very big, but they have done registrations in our field. We are a little shy of getting involve with the bigger reigstrars, too afraid of becoming a little fish in their big pond. Thanks for the reply. CarolX 29th August 2000, 04:47 PM Rick, Thanks for the info. They actually missed inclusion in the survey by two responses. I was able to review their results anyway, and they were very favorable. We have set-up an interview with them for early next month. Thanks again Rick Goodson 30th August 2000, 01:22 AM Carol, According to the 1998 McGraw-Hill ISO 9000 Directory, Global was formerly Tri-Tech Services. Through 1998 they had registered 144 companies in the USA with the the highest SIC codes being 2700 (29), 5000 (21) and 3400 (18). The 1999 index states they added 4 reigistrations in the USA (SIC codes 2600, 2700, 3200 & 500). Quality Digest magazine did a survey of registered companies recently to determine satisfaction with registrars. I believe I remember Global being in the survey. You may want to access the article at their website www.qualitydigest.com (http://www.qualitydigest.com) either the June or July 2000 issue. JRKH 2nd October 2001, 10:04 AM Has anyone any new info on Global Registrars? We are looking at them now for our registration needs. Thanks All James CarolX 2nd October 2001, 02:39 PM JRKH, We did use Global as our registrar and we were very satisfied with the job they did. Very professional and very real world. E-mail me if you would like more info. Regards, CarolX JRKH 3rd October 2001, 08:28 AM Marc and Carol, :bigwave: Thanks for the info. I'll check out both of these locals. Carol I may be contacting you soon. I've been talking to Elmer Bennett at global and he seems like "real people" (as we say). James |
