HI! i hope someone can help me on this. Does the required inputs of MRM have to be located in a single record? What if the required inputs were discussed in separate meetings? Does MRM outputs have to be included in the same single record? or could i just place it in our program action plans?:)

The format is entirely up to you. The Standard does not even require a "meeting."

Welcome to the Cove, aynin_quality :bigwave: Keep posting, now that you have started.

What if the required inputs were discussed in separate meetings? Well.... You have received good advice already. I would just like to suggest a look at this old thread: Management review (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=4344). My guess is that you will find it interesting.

We are currently putting the final touches on a sweeping change to our MRM procedure. We are capturing all those daily, weekly, and mothly meetings including summaries of actions taken as the main body of our management review. This will make twice yearly meetings a breeze since most of the inputs and outputs have already been covered. I'll let you know how this works out.:agree1:

What it really gets down to is: What works for your company.

If multiple inputs are part of your Business Structure, then use the multiple inputs in your Management Review Meetings. I would recommend that you have at least some agenda identifying the discussion material, using the multiple inputs. At least you would be able to show that it is being discussed, and what action your company is taking, in my opinion.

I agree with Randy, if your have a procedure follow it (though none is require in the standard). Program action plan is evidence enough of the review.. Ensure all inputs and outputs are covered..

That's funny, I'm not far from where you are just off the QEW on Kipling. I'm assuming either training or auditing?

I wish I could swing by, but it's almost impossible, I've got things happening after work this week and leaving for Virginia for the long weekend.

Enjoy your stay! I've added you to my buddy list.

What part/s of quality management should be included in the Management Review process? Would this usually be included in ordinary management meetings?

Welcome to the Cove Tupham:)

Here is my Procedure for Management Review (http://elsmar.com/Forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=1547&d=1068176254). It is most of what the Standard required but more importantly it is what we want from our business. Here is the thread it was posted in: Management Review of the QMS (Quality Management System) (http://elsmar.com/Forums/showthread.php?t=5988). I hope it helps. If you scroll to the bottom of each thread you will see links to similar threads. You can also take advanatage of the 'Search' function within the forum and you will be amazed at the resources available.

Thanks, Greg! That's just what I need. With this kind of comprehensive management review, do you also have a quality committee?

Our Management Review IS our Quality Committee. It is called the Quality Steering Committee. It has ALL of our management team, including CEO plus key players (Chemists, marketing) and Auditors attending.
NOTE: The procedure has been updated and now includes Value adding exercises, NCRs and KPI discussions. We have our normal weekly management meetings that compliment the MRs

Hello,

Ford requires meetings, should not be one, but it requires meetings.

:argue: Our Auditor would never accept different records, he see the Management Review as an additional top review, from the view of Quality Management. We use it to push projects to improve the Quality System in the different departments, projects the leader of the department would not push without the MR. At the end we have a closing meeting with Top Management to agree to the actions.
