Hello all,

I am doing research for my Master's Thesis at the UCLA Anderson School of Business. The research is in conjunction with small calibration management software developer based in Australia. I am wondering if some of you could provide me some general comments (or be willing to briefly talk with me :) )about the following:

Experiences with calibration management software (ie good features, problems encountered, etc)

Experiences with calibration service providers (for those that outsource) and how well CSP's manage your records

Feedback on price points for calibration management software

Any other feedback or information is greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please visit www.gap.ucla.edu or you can contact me directly. Thanks

Thanks for the offers so far, it is much appreciated and I have contacted all of you (let me know if my message did not come through). I've also linked a very brief multiple choice survey below, the survey is directed at manufacturing firms that have a regular calibration schedule (whether its done internally or outsourced). I got great feedback from a similar survey sent to calibration service providers, but low feedback from manufacturers thus far. I think the reason for the low feedback is that I had no way to filter out manufacturers that do not use a regular schedule, which lowered the response rate. If your interested, please take the survey and let me know what you think.

Ditto to Hershal's post. Send me a private message. I could type a thesis :) just on calibration management software. You might want to consider developing talking points/ questionnaire items to ask regarding these areas. Otherwise you might get a lot of feedback that is difficult to compare.
