Sorry to sound like a complete nimrod, but I have googled and called potential vendors to no avail. I have two controllers which are components of a heat sealer. One controller controls the pressure of the sealer, the other controls the temperature of sealer. These controllers are manufactured by Omron. I cannot find a source to have these controllers calibrated. Everyone I call acts like I've lost my ever-loving mind. :bonk:

Surely someone out there in Cove-Land has similar controllers that they are having calibrated. Could you give me some contacts? You can send them private message if you don't want this post to turn into a "Calibration Vendor Commercial"

Thanks in advance--:cfingers:

Have you asked the manufacturer (http://oeiweb.omron.com/service_online.asp) for guidance?

Hello!

There are several options. Since these gauges are usually affixed to the equipment, it may be easier to have someone come on-site for the calibration. That does not equate to having to spend a lot of money.

In your area, find out which calibration labs are accredited, and also ask around to other quality professionals in your area and find a good, reputable source. If they are in your area, I would think it should not cost more than $300-400 dollars, and take no more than a couple of hours.

P.S. Bag sealers usually have timers on them. You probably want to verify it's accuracy. You can probably do that yourself.

Several good posts here for you. But please let us know if this does not fulfill your need.

The above link will take you National Conference of Standards Labs International NCSLI. They have directory on there web site and there are several calibration labs listed in your area :)

Ormon controllers are module, an option would be to have them bench calibrated, but on-site is recommended for system calibration.
