View Full Version : SPC for productivity - Monitor the productivity level?

I am looking for some suggestions to introduce a stat. tool to monitor the productivity level of our assembly process (we produce connectors) At the moment we collect the qty produced per day and compare it with a goal.
I'd like to use a tool like the XR charts helpful to see an out of control signal but at the same tome this tool has to be able to induce the operators to produce "more"!
Any help?

Hmmm. Would it not be more worthwhile to determine production capability and then determine optimum output as determined by this capability.

Former true, latter false.

Same Rant, different thread.

End Rant.
