Hello Cove Members,

My name is Rajesh Anantharaman and I have been in the medical industry (spine) for approximately 3 years. I have a Masters Degree in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Akron, Ohio. I recently joined a start-up around 3 months ago as a Quality Engineer (with other responsibilities extending to Inventory Control and Document Control) and they are about to lay me off in a weeks time. "Budget constraints" is the reason for them letting me go.

Although my background and experience are in the Medical Device Industry, I am open to working in any kind of industry. If there are any openings in your organization, and if I fit your requirements please let me know. I am attaching my resume with this thread.

I appreciate your time for looking into this thread.

Sincerely,

Rajesh Anantharaman

In a PC world of XP and upcoming Vista, you might want to reconsider the wording in this line:

Operating Systems: WINDOWS 95/98, MS-DOS

Also, take time to review these two threads. Many folks have found them very helpful in their job hunts.

Thanks Mr Bucey,

I have made that change. And also looked at your suggestions.

Looking at your resume I noticed that you have placed on it the following:

Quality Engineer (October 2004 – July 2006). and
Theken Spine LLC, Akron, Ohio April 2004 – July 2006

Same position but different dates?

Also you show employment that only lasted for 1 year, what happen (this is something the potential company would ask)?

You have been at your current position since July 2006. Why, may I ask you are looking for another position only after 3 months (Another question that would be asked)

There is one thing you need to remember, besides the information Wes has given, is that the potential employers are looking to see how they "can't" hire you.

Just my opinion.
