Just out of my curiousity, is there any epoxy paint specifications defined by FDA for the floor and walls in the Pharmaceutical. If so, what are the specifications? Anyone have it? :(

If so, what are the specifications? Anyone have it? :( I've never heard of that. I've been in FDA registered plants that had all kinds of different paints on the walls and floors. I've never been asked for paint specs by and FDA inspector. I suppose it would be good practice to: -Make sure the paint you use is dry before restarting operations -Make sure the paint you use is cleanable/sanitize-able using your normal sanitizing chemicals -Make sure it's not peeling or flaking in any processing areas Ajit Basrur 8th November 2006, 11:52 AM Just out of my curiousity, is there any epoxy paint specifications defined by FDA for the floor and walls in the Pharmaceutical.
