Telemarketing is a plague.
Do you know what’s happening in Portugal with those companies?
In order to reduce costs, the person who is calling us is now at Portuguese speaking country, like Angola, Mozambique, East Timor or Cape Verde.
If we use this idea with a guy that phones us from those places, it will be fantastic!

I put my phone numbers in that "do not call" registry on-line and I have not received a telemarketer call in months....:biglaugh:

Yes, we have a similar thing in the UK called the Telephone Preference List, and it does work very well. Not 100% but more or less cuts it out.
There is a similar system called the Postal preference service that also cuts out junk mailing.
