Welcome to the Cove. :bigwave: You might also note we have a specific Forum for students (Students and Educational Institutions (http://elsmar.com/Forums/forumdisplay.php?f=105))
As I write this, the United States Government website (http://www.osha.gov/ (http://www.osha.gov/)) is temporarily out of service. Hopefully, it will be back in service soon.
OSHA = Occupational Safety & Health Administration (US government)
It is the definitive source for safety and health rules in the USA
In regard to quality, most well-run organizations have a Quality Management System very similar to the International Standard ISO 9001:2000, whch is primarily concerned with seeing that the organization's output (whether product or service) meets customer requirements to ensure continued business and thus continuation of the organization as a going concern.
