i am looking for a form and reporting system for production to use to report shortages and track them.

Just use a Kanban system with cards. Red, White and put them on a blackboard.

The kanban cards pull for the suppy of material from the warehouse. Stablish the cards according with the usage.

i.e 5 cards for 5.000 parts.


If the 5 cards are run out use a red card and put them in your blackboard before you have notified to Logistics.

This system is also named as Pull-sustem.

I attached a file I created during I was an MPL and PCL Analist in Visteon and Delphi to truck the Linestops with Customer Buyers and Suppliers and people of production.

This is the kind of file a multinational manage to truck, advise and foresee their linestop
