I registered in February of last year and my status says I am an involved user. Why does it not show that I am registered?
Thanks
Mo

You can't be "involved" unless you're registered. The status changes to "involved" after a certain number of posts. I don't know what the magic number is, though.

It's a software function which changes the user group a person is in after their n th post. The number is set to n = 10 posts right now.

You may also click on User CP up on the left side of the toolbar at the top of the Cove Forum page, then click on Edit User Profile along the left side of the User CP window. A little ways down that page you will see Custom User Title: You can change "Involved" to anything you want (within reason and Marc's Rules of Order for the Elsmar Cove Forums). I have appointed myself "Sachem".

I will try that, thank you.

As far as Randy is concerned, if you didn't have lunch with someone today, you are not involved and, by the way, are you available for dinner tonight? (jk):D

"Involved" is where someone has 10 posts or more. By involved, it means the person is participating in the forum discussions, either asking questions or helping others by answering questions.

Many people (the majority) register, download files they want but never post. And many people visit who never register at all. They read posts and such but for what ever reason siply do not register and post.

Every 'Involved' visitor is a registered visitor, but not every registered visitor is an 'involved' visitor.

You may visit without registration and browse through the wealth of information, but you are not entitled to post;and that is the diff. ;)
