Hi,

would someone have a example of a PPM reduction action plan. I have to make a presentation by the end of the week, and I need some sort of Blue print to get me started. I also need a example of a Product Launch PPM action plan.

If anyone should have something that I can take a look at, please let me know.

:thanks: :thanx: :thanks:

Let's start with this first -

Define PPM for us - it does have multiple meanings.

Define PPM for us - it does have multiple meanings.

PPM for me , means Parts Per Million. In how many rejected parts our customer had and what we are doing to reduce the number ( which is actually way below the actual goal the Customer has set, so it is actually an awesome number) but they want to see a Action plan on what we are doing to continue to have a low number and to set a downward trend of that number.
I also have to have a model of pre-launch PPM's . The actual goal of the Customer and what we are doing to succeed that Goal and maintaining this goal 3 months after SOP ( start of production).

I have looked at some models of action plans for various things that we have here, but none really appeal to what I am looking for. So i really could use some kind of example ( if someone is willing to show me something) to get me going in the right direction.

Does this help in any way? As a "novice" to this forum with all of you experts out there, I am hoping i am making some sense now.
:thanks: :thanks:

Anyone have any examples?

The first thing that comes to mind is a FMEA.

You could also use a pareto chart to analyze the significant few.

Just thinking out loud.
